The holiday season is a time to give back and share kindness with those around us. JCE Co-op’s annual Share Your Blessings Food Drive is now underway, and members are invited to join in supporting local families in need.
 
Through Dec. 31, JCE Co-op offices are collecting nonperishable food items to help stock the shelves of local food pantries across the cooperative’s service area, including Albany, Apple Canyon, Chadwick/Milledgeville, East Dubuque, Elizabeth, Erie, Fulton/Thomson, Geneseo, Hanover, Mt. Carroll/Savanna, Stockton, Galena and Warren/Caring Neighbors.
 
“Concern for community is one of the seven cooperative principles we live by,” said Taylor Smith, member and youth engagement coordinator. “Our annual food drive is a great reminder that when we work together, we can make a real difference right here at home.”
 
Donations can be dropped off at any JCE Co-op office during regular business hours. Every contribution helps make the season brighter for local families.
