Jo-Carroll Energy is monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19, a disease caused by the novel coronavirus. As a member-owned cooperative, our priority is the well-being of our members and employees. Safety is our number one core value.

We are closely monitoring official recommendations and will provide updates if normal member services and operations are impacted.

JCE’s senior leaders, business continuity experts, safety and operational groups have continual discussions to ensure that service to our members goes uninterrupted while considering the best interests and safety of our members, employees and the general public. We deeply appreciate your patience, understanding and care and concern for each other as we continue to address this rapidly evolving situation.

What we are doing

Currently, JCE is maintaining normal business hours.

We encourage and invite you to use our online Member Services Portal and phone calls to Member Services as your primary channels to conduct business at this time. Our 800 number is answered 24/7. By calling 800-858-5522, you can talk with member services representatives during normal working hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and with our after-hours call center after 4:30.

You can download our mobile app by visiting your app store and searching for JCE Mobile.

We are following the U.S. Centers for Disease Control guidelines to respond. Measures include:

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Avoid large gatherings such as conferences, sporting events and concerts.
• Stay home when you are sick.
• Wash or sanitize your hands often.
• Avoid touching your face, including your eyes, nose and mouth.

We have advised employees on increasing sanitizing efforts, especially in high-touch areas. We are encouraging the practice of social distancing when reasonable and possible.
