Jo-Carroll Energy is excited to bring the Touchstone Energy Hot Air Balloon to the 2022 Galena Halloween Parade on Saturday, Oct. 29.

The parade features floats, marching bands and costumed participants. A highlight are hot air balloon baskets with their burners shooting bright flames in to the night sky.

Watch for JCE and the Touchstone Balloon along with our Sand Prairie fiber internet float in the parade. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m.

Tethered rides

You'll have a chance to see the Touchstone Balloon earlier in the day when the co-op plans tethered rides, weather permitting. You'll find us at the parking lot of Crossroads Community Church (900 Galena Square Dr.) in Galena.

Tethered rides will be from approximately 8 to 10 a.m. and are first-come, first-served basis at time permits. Cost of the rides will be $10 per person which will be donated to a local charity.

Please keep in mind that tethered rides are very weather dependent. For the rides, winds need to be less than 8-10 mph at surface and no storms within 80-100 miles. Updates will be posted on our Facebook page.
