Senior Planet From AARP
JCE Co-op is launching a new program to help older adults in the co-op’s service area learn new skills and make new friends. In partnership with Senior Planet, a national nonprofit which harnesses technology to change the way older American age, JCE Co-op will be offering classes and workshops about technology and other topics.

Exploring and Downloading Apps/ SmartHub Help Class
During this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to search for and download apps to your iPhone and Android. We'll explore the App stores and cover some helpful considerations for choosing apps. You'll also learn how to uninstall apps and how to adjust some important app settings. Pre-requisites: Participants should bring their cellphones to class. Please note that this workshop focuses on downloading apps on your smartphone and will not cover every smartphone question.

Share Your Blessings Food Drive

Donations of nonperishable food items accepted at any JCE Co-op office.
Donations will benefit: Albany Food Pantry, Apple Canyon Bread of Life Food Pantry, Chadwick/Milledgeville Helping Hands Food Pantry, East Dubuque Food Pantry, Elizabeth Food Basket, Erie Food Pantry, Fulton/Thomson Food Pantry, Geneseo Food Pantry, Hanover Food Pantry, Mt. Carroll/Savanna Food Pantry, Stockton Food Pantry, United Churches of Galena Food Pantry, Warren/Caring Neighbors.
Sign up for a chance to win a $25 gift card to a local merchant in your community. Drawings will be held each week throughout the year. Once a winner is picked and contacted, all entries for that week will be purged for the next drawing. All minors under 16 must have their parents signature. Need not be a JCE Co-op member to enter.
Contests will run from Monday to Sunday with a winner being drawn every Monday morning.
