Senior Planet Returns!
We’re excited to share that Senior Planet classes are back!
After a short winter break to focus on scholarship outreach and Youth Tour school visits, we’re ready to reconnect and continue exploring technology together.
At Senior Planet, we support you as you learn at your own pace—whether you’re interested in smartphones, online safety, social media, video calls, digital tools, or something entirely new.
You don’t need to be a member to participate. Everyone is welcome!

June Topic: Everyday Uses of AI
Everyone is talking about AI. Come to this class to be a part of the conversation! This lecture will show you the ways AI is already present in everyday tasks and how it is used in everything from voice assistants to customer service and healthcare. We’ll look at common applications of AI across multiple industries and discuss ways you too can take advantage of this influential technology.

July Topic: Topic: Gardening Tech at a Glance
Do you want to improve your green thumb or just make gardening easier? Technology may be the answer. Join us in this introductory lecture to learn about different types of gardening tech. We'll go over some popular apps and explain their common features that will help you with everything from designing your garden to identifying plants and caring for them. You'll also learn about outdoor smart irrigation systems and sensors, as well as indoor gardening devices.

Sign up for a chance to win a $25 gift card to a local merchant in your community. Drawings will be held each week throughout the year. Once a winner is picked and contacted, all entries for that week will be purged for the next drawing. All minors under 16 must have their parents signature. Need not be a JCE Co-op member to enter.
Contests will run from Monday to Sunday with a winner being drawn every Monday morning.
