Up to 10 JCE Co-op Scholarships in the amount of $500 each will be awarded in 2025. The scholarships are for one year and are nonrenewable. Applicant Requirements - Applicants must be a high school senior. -Applicants’ parent/legal guardian must be a cooperative member with their primary residence or business served by the cooperative. - Immediate family of employees/directors may not apply. -Applicants must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher. -Applicants and their parent/guardian must attend the annual meeting to be eligible to win. Students who have received another scholarship from JCE Co-op are not eligible to receive a Director's Scholarship. Application Process Applicants must submit the completed application form and proof of GPA Selection and Award -Up to 10 scholarships will be awarded to students, one from each director district. -Applications will be reviewed by JCE Co-op employees for proof or GPA and completeness. -Scholarships may be used for education costs at any two- or four-year accredited college or university. -Recipients must begin undergraduate studies within one year. -Recipients are expected to be “full time” students, at least 12 credit hours. -Scholarships will be paid directly to the student, with payment distributed after the recipient has provided proof of enrollment. -Winners will be drawn by district at JCE Co-op’s Annual Meeting of Members in 2023 (TBA). -The student and at least one parent/guardian must be present at the meeting. -If there is no winner in a district, that scholarship becomes At-Larage; winner(s) will be drawn from students present who have not previously won.
